What’s been happening:

We're a family of Penn Staters! My wife Valerie ('78 For. Sci.) and I met in Runkle Hall in '75, married in '78, and have been happily married for 30 years. I have worked in the forestry profession my entire career (for various public and private organizations). Valerie is an English as a Second Language teacher for grades K-12. Our son Ross graduated PSU with honors in '07 in IST and is now employed in Madison, WI where he works for a medical software company. Our daughter Diana is majoring in Anthropology and Italian and is spending Spring '09 semester abroad in Florence and summer '09 at the Consulate General in Milan as an intern. We all love to travel (Ross spent a semester in Prague) and we get together as a family wherever we can anymore. We have always enjoyed making the many trips back and forth (6 1/2 hours each way) to University Park with our children and their belongings each semester. We will be sad when we don't have that anymore as an excuse to return.
